All I Want for Christmas is YOU

Living with just dad, uncle and myself makes it quiet around our house.  Thank goodness we have the Ashworths.  Those boys love coming here and we love being with them.  Christmas makes it even more special.   Since we aren't close to family during the holidays it's fun to decorate the house and know that those boys love it.

Having Charly and Jess here is the icing on the cake.  It was so hard to say good-bye at the airport.  I came home and cried.  It's quiet here again.
  1. Sunday we had the Ashworths for dinner and then we headed over to church for the annual music devotional.  It was great.  The music was fabulous as usual.  Jess and Charly got a huge welcome from everyone in the ward.

  2. Wednesday, Dec. 21, we went to the dinner theatre to see a Christmas play called Christmas Inn.  It included every Christmas song you could think of with cute dances and a great story.  It ended with a nativity scene and the cast sang O Holy Night.  Jess was in tears.  After the show, there was a sing along with the cast and it was fun to see Uncle enjoying it so much.

    3.   Friday night we went caroling with the Ashworths.  It was great.  We went to Bob and Sue Wilson, Elinor Karp and a family from the 2nd ward.  It was touching and gave us a great feeling for Christmas. We went to Ashworths for dinner and games.  I can't remember when we laughed so much.  It was such a fun Christmas celebration!!
    4.  Saturday was Christmas Eve so we did some last minute shopping and then came home and went out for dinner.  We hit the light show in LaGrangville and then came home and gave out the first Christmas gifts, talked about the Jesus Christ being the Light of the World and then we voted to watch The Nutcracker.  Jess fell sound alseep and it's her favorite movie!!!  But it was a great way to spend the evening, cuddle up on the couch together.
