What Goes Around Comes Around; Good Karma; Blessings from Above
Yesterday dad had an opportunity to serve gathering food orders for the those in the ward in need. A big truck comes up to New Paltz once a month and brings the food for our Stake. Dad went over yesterday to gather what was needed for one guy with cancer, a widow and her family and a single mom that works 2 jobs. He, also, needed to be at LaGrange court at 4 p.m. for rolling through the stop sign on Mulberry and Scenic on the first day of school. Has there ever been a cop there???
Needless to say, he got to court at 5 p.m. One hour late. The judge asked him why he was late and he said it was a long story but he would tell him if he really wanted to know. The judge said he really wanted to know. Dad said, "I was getting food for a widow and her kids, and I was getting food for a man with cancer, and I was getting food for a single mother that works 2 jobs." The judge looked at dad and said, "Case Dismissed."
