Homestead and Bear Lake Excusrion

If my family didn't live in Utah, I think I would come to Utah just to go to the KOA at Bear Lake!
We rented a deluxe cabin which had a full kitchen and bath, TV's, AC, bunk beds, a bedroom and a loft that the kids loved.  Not to mention the outdoor space.  For the adults it was relaxing because the big kids went to play!!!

The night before we spent at the Zermatt in Midway.  Midway is lovely and charming as well.  On Saturday we attended the outdoor concert at the Homestead.  Stacey made us all yummy sweet pork salads and carmel popcorn!  The kids love playing during the concerts.  It is like a mini-Tanglewood and couldn't be more perfect.

In the morning we woke up to yummy fresh scones that Jenni made, along with flavored butters!!  Then we ascended on the most beautiful trip up to Bear Lake!  Because it was Father's Day, our girl, Logan, had to go with her dad. 

I can't wait to plan another family trip.  I vote for Bear Lake for a few nights, plus renting a boat!
