Christmas - Don't Leave
We had so much Christmas this year:
- Stacey, Jake and the kids visited
- Radio City Music Hall Rockettes show
- Rockefeller Center skating with Stacey and her family; Bill and I got be there with them.
- Walking in NYC with Bill
- The Giving Machines
- Saks 5th Avenue Lights
- Christmas breakfast at church
- Music devotional at church
- Making cookies to give away
- Wrapping gifts with Bill
- Seeing The Chosen Christmas with Bill
- Charly singing with her singing group
- Gingerbread houses at the Ashworth's
We have been blessed. "The poorest people are those that just have money."
The highlight of the whole Christmas season was Christmas Eve day through Sunday. I enjoyed getting dinner ready with Bill so much. It was fun to have our friends here. Then on Christmas day we did a small intimate dinner just for our family. I loved having Bill present. TV's and all outside distractions were off. To have Sunday as a "day of rest" following Christmas was the best. We had pastries and leftovers and sat by the fire and binged watch Netflix. I am the happiest that I have been in a long time. I needed a weekend like this.
